    The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, praised the launch of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics, which was announced yesterday, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 AD by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect him - saying: (It establishes an integrated and comprehensive industry of logistics services. ), and considered it a realistic embodiment of one of the most important pillars of the 2030 vision, that the Kingdom will be a distinguished global logistics platform linking three of the world's continents, stressing that it represents a strong impetus to upgrade various services and means of transportation, as well as enhancing integration paths between all logistics services and achieving their sustainability.

    Al-Khalidi said that the strategy included in the strategy, whether development projects related to infrastructure or new projects such as the railway link between the Arab Gulf states, opens broad prospects for the private sector to partner in these projects, and also represents a qualitative leap in the paths of promoting the logistic sector in the Kingdom, which - without doubt - it will be reflected in improving the quality of life in all regions and cities of the Kingdom, congratulating the wise leadership - may God protect him - on the launch of the strategy, which came in response to an ambitious vision that realized the importance of the Kingdom's geographical location on the world map, and the ingredients it possesses that push it to be a global logistical platform He stressed that this strategy embodies the leadership's interest in major projects that contribute to achieving the vision and its objectives by diversifying the economic base and for the Kingdom to be the best logistical hub in the world.

    For his part, a member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Bandar bin Rafea Al-Jabri, considered the launch of the national strategy for transport and logistics an important step towards strengthening the strategic location of the Kingdom as a global logistics center, as well as achieving integration between government sectors and the private sector, pointing out that it will reflect positively on the private sector.
